Here is wishing everyone a happy Mid-autumn festival!
Tomorrow is the Chinese Mid-autumn festival. Where families will gather for dinner, and children will light the lanterns afterwards and walk the neighbourhoods showing off their colorful patterned lanterns. Mooncakes are traditionally eaten during the festival, and one can admire the full bright moon that falls on the 15th day of August of the Chinese lunar calendar.

Missbunny caught the travelling bug, and in early September, she went to Japan again. As mentioned in a previous post, Missbunny said she could get used to some of the Japanese lifestyle, so she quickly donned a kimono and indulged in the onsen hot spring atmosphere: The weather was perfectly sunny and mountains were covered in beautiful shades of green. In Hakone, Missbunny met one of the newest families in Sylvania, the Grey Cat sister, and introduced herself: Missbunny thought the Grey Cat was so talented. She would love to be able to ride the unicycle like the Grey Cat. Unfortunately, Missbunny encountered a little mishap while in Hakone. Her tail came off, and I suspect this is due to too much travelling. She woke up from her nap one afternoon and found that her loose tail had lodged itself between her ears! Missbunny felt very silly. I think it's time for Missbunny to stay put at home for a bit and rest up.

About MeI like to experiment with photography and dabble in crafty things. I started collecting Sylvanian Families in 2009 and hope that someday my little daughter will enjoy playing and collecting Sylvanian Families as much as I do. Archives
