It's spring in Japan when Missbunny took her second trip there in March, this time on a proper holiday visit. I say "proper holiday" as her first visit to Japan was a tag-along with my friend on her business trip so it was a very short trip. which was really delicious and she could not stop eating. The carrier also provided information on the calories of each different type of meals they serve for lunch. Missbunny thought that was pretty useful as she does try to be healthy whenever possible. Missbunny spent a few days in Tokyo before we took her along to Karuizawa, a town which is one and half hour away from Tokyo and is popular for its skiing facilities. There is also a large outlet mall which Missbunny is always interested to drop-by and look. But firstly, here are some photos of Missbunny's trip to Tokyo Disney Sea: Then it is off to Karuizawa by train. Not a shinkansen but an express train nevertheless. After walking her feet off in busy and crowded Tokyo, Karuizawa was relaxing and a breath of fresh air. It was spring in Tokyo but when she arrived in Karuizawa, Missbunny saw snow. The place we stayed in was so beautiful, Missbunny could have stayed out in the balcony all day and meditated. But it was quite freezing. After some rest in the afternoon, Missbunny walked the quaint village shops around Karuizawa, and it snowed again. There were so many Japanese things that Missbunny get to try for the first time in Karuizawa: ice-skating, relaxing in the bath they called ofuro, building snowman, and wearing the traditional japanese yukata. Missbunny had more rice cracker, and sake, with a good friend she met in Karuizawa. After a day packed with activies, she slept soundly on a futon. Missbunny said to herself that she could really get used to this lifestyle.
